Jenna Paik
Lawyer
Jenna is a criminal defence lawyer at Platform Litigation. Jenna represents clients throughout British Columbia and accepts both legal aid and private work. She has appeared at both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
Jenna has been counsel on a wide variety of files, including aggravated assault, robbery, theft, possession of stolen property, drug trafficking, firearms, sexual offences, domestic matters and driving matters under the Motor Vehicle Act. Jenna has also been co-counsel on cases involving complex sexual assault, manslaughter and second-degree murder.
Jenna was called to the bar in September 2024. Jenna’s interest in criminal defence work began while volunteering with the Law Students Legal Advice Program in law school, where she worked on several criminal files. After graduating law school in 2023, Jenna articled at a global corporate firm, focusing on corporate litigation. Motivated by her interest in criminal law and a desire to work more closely with individuals, Jenna transitioned from corporate law to criminal defence and began practising at a defence firm in Vancouver.
Jenna approaches each file with diligence and attention to detail. She is sensitive to the significant personal consequences her clients face and is committed to protecting their interests.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys salsa dancing in Vancouver and is an avid traveller.
