Emma Logue

Lawyer

Emma is a lawyer at Platform Litigation and her practice focuses on criminal litigation. Emma represents clients in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and British Columbia Supreme Court, throughout the lower mainland area.

Emma received a Juris Doctor degree from Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2023. She completed her articles at Platform Litigation and was called to the bar in 2024. During her articles she gained valuable hands-on experience in defending criminal charges.

Emma is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society British Columbia, and Association of Legal Aid Lawyers.

During her legal studies, Emma volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and the Pro Bono Students Canada. In her last year at law school, Emma was a judicial intern at the Provincial Court of British Columbia in Kelowna. During her internship, she was exposed to the behind the scenes nature of criminal law. It was during this time that she confirmed her interest in the relational and dynamic work of criminal law.

Prior to law school, Emma completed a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from the University of British Columbia Okanagan.

In her free time, she is busy fulfilling the demands of her overlord- her cat, Saint.
